resolving jetlag

a count down ... 19 days till strasbourg, france

jetlag is always a problem. what can we do with a 11 months old baby's jetlag? some people say having sunshine will reset the body's internal clock, but don't you still get sleepy? i would think it is harder during winter time.

okay so we are going east and covering 9 time zones (hours difference) our wake up time with theodore is usually 8am.

the solution to light issues is best used to destination time:

TRAVELLING WEST
SEEK BRIGHT LIGHT between 17:30 (5:30pm) and 20:30 (8:30pm) then
SWITCH to AVOID LIGHT until 00:30 or later
on DAY 2 SEEK BRIGHT LIGHT between 20:30 (8:30pm) and 23:30 (11:30pm) then
SWITCH to AVOID LIGHT until 03:30 or later

TRAVELLING EAST
SEEK BRIGHT LIGHT between 11:30 and 14:30 (2:30pm) then
SWITCH to AVOID LIGHT until 18:30 (6:30pm)
on DAY 2 SEEK BRIGHT LIGHT between 14:30 (2:30pm) and 17:30 (5:30pm) then
SWITCH to AVOID LIGHT until 21:30 (9:30pm)
