mama cooked up a storm like usual (we had a hearty lunch). we had noodles, roasted pork, bbq pork, vegi with shrimps, tofu, rice etc. and apple pie and assorted fruits and candies for dessert.
simone, yves and lucas lives in a village 45 minutes from home. the village is population 1000 or so people. and yves' dad is the major of the little village. they also own a choucroute (sour croute) factory. and they live in a farm.
lucas is 7 years old and a math wiz and he also likes to tell jokes. he didn't like to try new food much and for the first time he had shrimps and he didn't like that either.
jean aka patrick goes to school in strasbourg and come by often to the house to visit and have dinner.
only person who didn't join us for dinner was david.
