day 9 centre pompidou

after lunch we took a taxi to the pompidou center. it was a short ride from the hotel and it costed 20 euro for the 5 of us.
papa and mama took baby and lined up at the entrance to the public library which we thought was the wrong line. jp was upset because they went without us, but then it ended up to be a best mistake. it was a much shorter line from the library entrance than from the main front entrance to the centre.
we only looked at a part of the Hergé exhibition since the line were so long for the rest of the main show:
'Bringing together several hundreds of original drawings and prints, as well as other documents by the famous illustrator, this exhibition is an homage to the work of Hergé, who would have celebrated his 100th birthday in 2007. In its presentation of the works of Hergé, the Centre Pompidou illustrates the significant place that comic strips hold in 20th century art history. The exhibition will be free for visitors of all ages to mark the Centre Pompidou's own 30th anniversary, providing a unique occasion to rediscover series such as Tintin et Milou, Quick et Flupke, Jo, Zette et Jocko.'
we also checked out the printemps design boutique. there were some interesting handmade items for sale at the shop. too bad no camera allowed. i got baby milou (snowy).
